The Terra Penta Photography website has now been updated to take advantage of these updates and new features. As a result, most galleries will have a new URL to access them. Specifically, anyone accessing a private gallery will need an updated URL. Please contact us at service@TerraPentaPhotography.com for an updated URL.

New photo series. I've been working on a novel photo series. I started with the idea about a year ago while in New York and it's taken me quite a while to build a small portfolio of my efforts. The reason is that each image requires a commitment of about 2 hours in one spot and no other images can be explored during that time. In addition, there has been the learning curve as to what works and what doesn't as well as plenty of location scouting. I call the series "Night in Day." The images are essentially a double exposure of the exact same scene taken during the day and then taken after dark. For the shortest time commitment, this requires that the daylight portion be near sunrise or sunset and the night portion be at twilight. I still have a couple more locations that I'd like to shoot before I conclude the series but thought I'd go ahead and begin sharing them with you all now. Check them out in my new Night in Day gallery I hope you enjoy. They've been a long time in the making...
Been going through some older works. Finding images that I'd spent some time on but hadn't finished up or decided whether to publish. You'll find some of those uploaded now.
Organizing galleries. I'm now in the process of moving images around in an attempt to organize and make the galleries more efficient. This will mean that I can provide different groupings of images without duplication while keeping image collections in logical sets.
All images now with titles and descriptions. I've finally gotten all public gallery images completed with titles and descriptions, not to mention keywords. In addition, I have uploaded a few new images which you can view via the home page's Recent Photos section.
It's been a long time... Finally some new updates. I've added a new gallery for some Yosemite images from my recent trip. Just 2 so far with maybe a couple more to come. The weather wasn't particularly photogenic but I managed a couple that I like well enough. Another feature I'm working to incorporate is including a last update to the gallery names. This will make it easier to view just what's changed since your last visit.
New image upload Uploaded first of the Lassen Volcanic National Park images. Several more to come as I get time to complete them.
Major site update. I've moved my site to SmugMug due to the amount of customization available and the ease of maintenance. This is my initial release and have so far just moved my photos from my other site and done some initial customization. The site will be under construction for the next few weeks while I add and refine content. I will be uploading higher resolution print quality images to replace the existing ones as time permits. In the mean time, you may contact me for specific print requests.
